On October 29th, Zhoushan Ningshing Ship Building successfully delivered a tugboat and an unpowered cargo barge built for Kiribati with the assistance of the Chinese government.
As the first time undertaking a national aid project, all members of Zhoushan Ningshing Ship attached great importance to the responsibility assigned to them. Every member engaged in the production organization, carrying the shipbuilding with precision. With the effort of all the team member, the construction of two high quality and efficiency ships was completed five months ahead of schedule. In order to ensure the smooth and safe arrival of the two ships in Kiribati, the company made full efforts to coordinate the I-Kiribati counterpart.
Mr. Tang Songgen, Ambassador of China to Kiribati, said that this was an important aid project after the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Kiribati. He spoke highly of the responsibility of Zhoushan Ningshing Ship Building to undertake aid projects. He highly affirmed the completion of the construction of two ships by the team at Zhoushan Ningshing Ship Building despite all the challenges due to the pandemic.He also commended the project as it played a big role in enhancing friendly relations between the two countries. Zhoushan Ningshing Ship Building has won wide acclamation from shipowners with its professional technology and excellent service. It has completed the construction of 19 ships, including ultra-low temperature refrigerated ships, oil tankers, chemical tankers, and tugboats, with a total output value of about 980 million yuan.
